Calling Boys and Girls Ages 9-12 for our Fall Show Choir. . .

Wednesday, August 1, 4:30-6:00pm and Thursday, August 2, 4:30-6:00pm
The focus of this outreach program is singing, dancing, and entertaining. Show choir members practice weekly at ArtsView and entertain at various venues throughout the community during the fall season.
An audition is required. Students will audition in groups of 6. Each student should prepare a 1-minute solo to sing at auditions; no vocals on accompaniment track (CD or ipod accompaniment, please). Students will also sing in a group with a song taught during auditions. There will be a choreography segment with steps taught during the audition. Total time is about 30 minutes. Auditions are closed at ArtsView; parents are welcome to wait in the lobby. To schedule an audition, call 903-236-7535.

The 2012 Bravo Players list will be posted on the ACT front door and on the ArtsView website on August 3rd at 10:00am. 2012 Bravo Players should plan to pick up music and CD from the ArtsView office the week of August 6th at ArtsView Children’s Theatre, 313 West Tyler St., Longview.
REHEARSALS: Saturday, August 11, 9AM-Noon; Saturday, September 8, 1-4PM; Beginning September 10, Every Monday Afternoon, 4:30-5:45 PM: September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12; Last Rehearsal: November 12
PERFORMANCES: Scheduled throughout the fall semester. First Performance – Saturday, September 15, 9AM, Longview Farmer’s Market
COST: $30 if selected. Includes t-shirt, Practice CD, and accessories for show.
Not every rehearsal and performance are required; but every effort should be made to attend when possible. **ArtsView asks that parents provide their child’s transportation to and from events.**
