ArtsView Children’s Theatre (ACT) is a
new non-profit organization in Longview, which believes that the Arts
are fundamental
to a well-rounded childhood.

Sandi Taylor, founding president of the
ACT board believes, "The more children are exposed to theatre, the
more they want it. The challenge facing Longview and surrounding areas today
is a lack of opportunities for children to participate in and view live
theatre on a regular basis. ACT means to change all that."

Sandi Taylor - Co-Founder, Instructor
Sandi Taylor's international education includes a degree in Marketing and Merchandising with a Minor in Psychology from The University of Houston. She also has a certification from the Paris Fashion Institute in Paris, France as well as certification as an Image Consultant from the Academy of Fashion and Image in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Sandi's image expertise stems from her diverse background in the fashion industry. Her personal emphasis on style and presentation exemplifies the knowledge she has to share with others.
Currently working as Business Manager of the brand new ArtsView Children's Theatre in Longview, she also serves on various boards for non profit organizations in the East Texas area, in addition to being the on air personality for Mike Craig Ford in Gilmer.
She and her husband, Bill, have two children, Lexi & Preston. |
Vickie Echols - Education Director
Vickie is a founding board member for ArtsView, and was co-director of the first summer musical camp. In addition to ArtsView, she has volunteered with productions at First United Methodist Church and Longview Community Theatre. Vickie also serves as a Longview Museum of Fine Arts board member, and Junior League sustainer. She and her husband, Brad, have two children, Ross and Nicholas.
She currently works as the Public Information Coordinator for Pine Tree ISD, and is an adjunct professor at LeTourneau University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate education courses. She has enjoyed twenty plus years as an educator/administrator in Texas public schools working with children from Kindergarten through Junior High age.
Her educational background includes a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University and a Masters Degree in Instruction and Administration from James Cook University, Australia.

Barbara Kilby - Workshop Coordinator

Barbara is the proud mother of two children, Caleb and Danielle. She is married to a great guy, Sieg Kilby!! Her mantra is " Sometimes you just have to think outside of the box ! "

CeCe Barnard – Office Manager
CeCe came to ArtsView as an office volunteer in October of 2004. In addition to ArtsView, she has volunteered as a PTA Board member in many different positions for several school systems for the past 9 years. CeCe currently serves as PTA President for Spring Hill ISD, volunteers at the Spring Hill Middle School office and library and is a member of the Spring Hill Band Booster Club. She and her husband, Doug, have two children, Tyler and Randi.
She considers her full time job to be MOM, but prior to having children she was a collections manager for a Neurologists office and before that a claims processor for a major insurance company.

| Pamela Bump - Production Coordinator
Pamela is a graduate of East Texas State University, now part of the Texas A&M family, with a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education. For the past twenty years, she has loved teaching in the private, public and home-school realms.
Pamela first became affiliated with ACT through her children’s involvement and joined ArtsView Children’s Theatre as a volunteer in 2005. She has been a backstage mom, stage manager and even on the ArtsView stage a few times. Currently, she serves as Production Coordinator on the ArtsView team.
She and her husband, Paul, have four children, Shannon, Forrest, Caroline and Elijah.

Alyssa Ford - Production Coordinator
Alyssa’s daughter, Arianna Berry, got her involved with ArtsView in 2005. Alyssa fell in love with all things involved with theatre right along with Arianna. She has been a backstage parent helping with make-up/hair, costumes, set building, and props.
She was assistant production coordinator for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Production Coordinator for Little Red Hen and James and the Giant Peach.
She and her husband Kevin, have two children, Arianna and Skylee.

| Bonnie Capshaw - Instructor
Bonnie is a graduate of Baylor University and the mother of 2 beautiful and dramatic children – Amanda, a sophmore Theatre student at Baylor University and Hannah, a 6th grader at Pine Tree Middle School.
She has been sewing costumes for 19 years for her children and has been involved with Longview Community Theatre and Pine Tree High School theatre productions. She was on the Founding Board of Directors for ArtsView Children’s Theatre.
She has been involved with costuming for ACT for Popcorn Theatre, Charlotte’s Web and Once on This Island. Bonnie is very proud to be a part of ArtsView Children’s Theatre and she loves working with the other volunteers and children.

Lee Littlefield - Instructor>
Lee was born and raised in Longview. He attended Pine Tree High School and participated in theatre from 5th grade thru his senior year.
He attended Kilgore College to pursue his Graphic Design degree. Now, he works as head designer and photographer for Kilgore College’s marketing department. Encouraged by his wife, Kristene, to follow his first passion, the stage, he participates with Longview Community Theatre venues when possible.

Caryn Pepper - Instructor
She’s that winsome redhead with the Texas smile and
natural aplomb.
Caryn graduated from Central High School in Phoenix, Arizona,where she was active in her school drama department. She joined the staff of Texas Bank & Trust in 1993 and serves as Executive Secretary in the Executive Division.
Caryn has acted in numerous Longview Community Theatre productions over the years: Ethel Tofflemeir in The Music Man, Dolly Tate in Annie Get Your Gun, Maria in Grand Night for Singing, Rhetta Cupp in Pump Boys & Dinettes, Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Belinda Blair/Flavia Brent in Noises Off and in Jekyll & Hyde. She has also been in two ArtsView Children's Theatre Popcorn THEATRE presentations in the past. Caryn is the mother of two children, Landry and George and she is the wife of Joel Pepper.

Jacob Justice - Instructor
Jacob Justice graduated from Northwestern State University with a B.A. in Theatre and minor in Dance. While in college, he wrote many plays, one (Journey Through Oz) was performed by the department as a full-length show.
Another show performed at Northwestern, was "The Gift: A Christmas Musical" an original musical about the birth of Christ. His latest project was a sitcom called "Third Church" which was being filmed in Shreveport, LA and is currently being edited.

Alisha Kimbley - Instructor
Alisha Kimbley graduated with a B.A. from East Texas Baptist University in
All- Level Music Education and All-Level Music Certification Alisha is currently teaching music at White Oak Elementary (7ys.) She has taught private twirling, piano, and vocal lessons for the past several years. She has ten years experience directing musicals, plays, and concerts in: churches, civic groups, schools, nursing homes, banks, and church camps. Alisha has directed the '101 Dalmatians', 'Stone Soup', 'Cinderella', 'American Pop Forever', and 'Little Red Hen' musical theatre academies and looks forward to many more at ArtsView!
Alisha strives to help children experience all areas of the fine arts in hopes that they will find their ‘sweet spot’ and pursue it in high school, college, and adulthood. Alisha lives in Longview with her husband Luke. They attend Fellowship Bible Church of Longview where Luke is Director of Student Ministries.

Micah Goodding - Instructor

Micah Goodding is an East Texas native who has been active in both the
professional and educational arts for over 6 years. He is currently the
Director of Theatre at Gladewater High School where he and his students
put on regular productions of full length plays, musicals and competitive
one acts.
He has acted professionaly with The Texas Shakespeare Festival and in several national TV commercials. Micah is also cofounder of The After Dinner Theatre in Nacogdoches, TX where he served as Artistic
Director for two seasons.
He holds a double Bachelor Degree in Theatre Performance and Visual Art from Stephen F Austin State University where he was recognized Who's Who Among American University Students, a Magna Cum Laude graduate, and a recipient of the Exellence in Acting award from the School of Theatre. Micah also attended Kilgore College where he was awarded the Most Outsdanding Theatre Student award and the Most Representative KC student award. When he's not in the theatre, Micah illustrates and cartoons. His works have been published in several newspapers and magazines and won awards at statewide competitions.
He is absolutely thrilled about getting to work with Artsview Children's
Theatre.
