The focus of this outreach group is singing, dancing, and entertaining. We rehearse weekly at ArtsView during the spring season and perform at various venues throughout our community.
Home School Showcase Class, Ages: 8-12

Participants will ‘become’ a wax presentation of a famous American hero/icon through a mixture of history, character study, art, costuming, set design, props, voice expression/presentation, monologue, and writing. The class culminates in a showcase of a ‘live wax museum’!

Be part of a traveling fine arts road troupe! Participants will prepare a short performance to take ‘on the road’ to local child care facilities, nursing homes, schools, and community events. Have a hand in creating your show in all areas!

Learn songs and choreography from Disney’s The Little Mermaid through basic musical theater skills such as singing, dancing, prop movement, and stage presence. Camp culminates with a showcase performance and an invitation to participate in a musical number in our spring production of The Little Mermaid during Dress Rehearsal on March 20th!

Celebrate the most loved stories about this famous friend duo while learning the theatrical production process. Basic acting skills, introduction to musical theater terms, singing, dancing, and performance speaking skills will be taught.

In this short version of “The Three Little Pigs,” ArtsView’s youngest stars will experience singing in a group, speaking on stage, expression with body and voice, wearing a costume, basic use and handling of props and set, and performing for a live audience!
***All PATHS events now require a non-refundable fee of $10 for one-day workshops; $25 for classes and mini-camps; $50 for camps.
***As part of ArtsView’s child safety policy, clear background checks are required for all ArtsView participants, volunteers, staff, and production team members, ages 18 & up.
