ArtsView Show Choirs

ArtsView Children’s Theatre has traveling show choir opportunities throughout the year. The focus of this outreach program is singing, dancing, and entertaining at various venues throughout the community. Some places we have traveled include Longview Public Library, ArtWalk Longview, World of Wonders. Down Syndrome Buddy Walk, Calies Acre Pumpkin Patch, Farmer’s Market, Evergreen Assisted Living of Longview, and the Texas Shakespeare Festival.

The time commitment of one semester or a summer season is required. An $80 participation fee provides your ArtsView Player’s performance t-shirt and all supplies. Parents are expected to provide transportation for their student to all performances. While there is some flexibility extended regarding rehearsals and performances, members are expected to make every effort to attend. All groups begin with a 1 week performance camp to learn their ‘road show’ at the beginning of the semester. Each performance in the community requires about a 45-60 minute time commitment at the most. All groups are non-auditioned/registration only.

This is a wonderful program for young performers with all levels of experience from a shy beginner to a child who has been in front of audiences for years. Come take ArtsView into the community through singing, dancing, and entertaining!
