Kara BarbeeKara is a native of Abilene, Texas and a graduate of the Angela State University Theatre Arts Program.  Kara is currently the theatre director and speech/debate coach at Union Grove Junior High and High School.

Aside from working in print ads and television, some of Kara’s favorite roles in the theatre have included Agnes in I Do! I Do!, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, and Lady Larkin in Once Upon A Mattress.  She also appeared in the ArtsView Production last year of It’s a Wonderful Life playing Violet Peterson.

Pat Clark - DirectorOriginally from Texarkana, Texas, Pat has been Theatre Director for 17 years at Hallsville High School.  With a vast knowledge of theatre arts, Pat came to ArtsView in 2009 as director of It’s a Wonderful Life.    She has also directed with the community theatre for the productions of The Amen Corner and Sylvia.

Brad Echols - DirectorBrad has directed several productions for ArtsView Children's Theatre, including: Seussical the Musical; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; A Christmas Carol; and Godspell.  He has also appeared in numerous musical productions in Longview including: The Music Man; Annie Get Your Gun; Pump Boys and Dinettes; and Jeckyll and Hyde.  Brad is married to one of the co-founders of ArtsView, Vickie Echols. They have two sons, Ross and Nicholas, and an amazing grandson, Isaac.  When he is not directing or acting on the stage, Brad can be found "acting" as an attorney with the Longview firm Boon, Shaver, Echols and Coleman.

Pam GallowayPam joined the Artsview Children's Theatre team in 2005 when she directed the first production, Happily Ever After, in Artsview's current home.  Since that time, she has assistant directed and directed several Artsview shows.  "It has been my joy to work on Willy Wonka, When I Grow Up, Mulan, and It's A Wonderful Life.  It is so exciting and rewarding to be part of a team, cast and crew, making theatre magic!"  She's a "stage coach", instructing such workshops as "Acting 101" and "5 Days of Performing Fun".

She's choreographed and designed sets at Artsview as well as other venues.  Pam has written and directed for stage, film, television and radio.  She's taught Musical Theatre in Panola College's Kids College program.  She coached UIL One Act Play for Tatum's Middle School.  "And", she says, "occasionally, I even get cast in a show myself!"   Pam's philosophy about children's theatre is simple, "When it stops being fun, it's time to stop.  At Artsview, it just never stops being fun."

Micah GooddingMicah Goodding is an East Texas native who has been active in both the professional and educational arts for over 7 years. He is currently the Director of Theatre at Pine Tree High School where he and his amazing students put on regular productions of full length plays, musicals and competitive one acts.

He has acted professionaly with The Texas Shakespeare Festival and in several national TV commercials. Micah is also cofounder of The After Dinner Theatre in Nacogdoches, TX where he served as Artistic Director for two seasons.

He holds a double Bachelor Degree in Theatre Performance and Visual Art from Stephen F Austin State University where he was recognized Who's Who Among American University Students, a Magna Cum Laude graduate, and a recipient of the Excellence in Acting award from the School of Theatre. Micah also attended Kilgore College where he was awarded the Most Outstanding Theatre Student award and the Most Representative KC student award. When he's not in the theatre, Micah illustrates and cartoons. His works have been published in several newspapers and magazines and won awards at statewide competitions.

He and his lovely wife, Tamara are absolutely thrilled about getting to work with Artsview Children's Theatre

Jacob JusticeJacob Justice graduated from Northwestern State University with a B.A. in Theatre and minor in Dance. While in college, he wrote many plays, one (Journey Through Oz) was performed by the department as a full-length show.

Another show performed at Northwestern, was "The Gift: A Christmas Musical" an original musical about the birth of Christ. His latest project was a sitcom called "Third Church" which was being filmed in Shreveport, LA and is currently being edited.

Alisha KimbleyAlisha Kimbley graduated with a B.A. from East Texas Baptist University in All- Level Music Education. This is her 8th year to teach music and movement at White Oak Elementary School. She has twelve years experience directing musicals, plays, and concerts. Alisha has directed many musical academies for ArtsView in the past four years and is looking forward to many more!

Alisha strives to help children experience all areas of the fine arts in hopes that they will find their "sweet spot" and pursue it in high school, college, and adulthood. She lives in Longview with her husband Luke who is on staff at Fellowship Bible Church of Longview.

 

postheadericon Jordan Ricks

Jordan is an East Texas native with a passion for the arts.  He is the High School Choir director at Gilmer High School, where he is also actively involved in TMEA Region IV.  He has played many roles over the years in plays such as The Sound of Music, The Music Man, J.B., The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew, and Once Upon a Mattress (Sir Harry).  He made his college stage debut as a lead in Franz Lehar's "The Merry Widow" (Baron Popov).  He has a passion for the arts, and a love for children.  Jordan made his Artsview debut as musical director for Disney's Mulan Jr.
