ArtsView Children's Theatre offers year-round opportunities for learning about theatre:Workshop is a half or full day learning opportunity offering an intense instruction of one skill. There is a small fee. Limited number of students in each workshop. EXAMPLES: How To Audition, ACTing 101, Playwriting, etc. Academy is a 2 week intensive training opportunity, where students come to ArtsView each day for 1-3 hours, culminating in a performance for the public. There is a tuition and everyone gets a part. Limited number of students in each academy. Production/Performance is a main-stage production. Parts in these productions are determined by open auditions. Not everyone gets a part. There is no fee for auditioning, but there is a small fee if cast, to cover the costs of scripts, tshirt, expendables, etc. There are 5-8 weeks of rehearsals, usually 2-3 times a week, culminating in a production. Unlimited amount of people can audition. |
