ACTING IN THE ROUND
Saturday, March 27, 2010
Ages 10-18
9am - Noon
Cost $30 (fee assistance available for those in need)

Instructor: Pam Galloway
You know the basic rules of stage performance…. Don’t turn your back to the audience, use your voice and breathing to speak loudly enough to be heard in the back. BUT, what if the audience is on all four sides of you? What if they are only 5 feet away? Theatre in the Round is an exciting process that practically puts the performance in the laps of the audience. We will discuss the rules we use and the rules we bend a bit for area productions… We will work “in the round”, applying the techniques we explore.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING!
(Acting Workshop)

Instructor: Lee Littlefield
Come learn from a master at comedy timing! If a joke is not delivered in the right manner, it is not funny!! However, just a simple expression can bring down the house with laughter if it is timed correctly. Do you have the gift to make people laugh (when you want them to?) If so, come fine tune that gift….if not, learn how you can!!
