General Manager & Artistic Director
Michelle graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science and International Relations. Her love of everything theatrical began in childhood allowing her to act in numerous productions throughout her lifetime. With over twelve years of educational experience and over seven years of directing and teaching theatre in the community and with ArtsView, her passion to allow children to explore and cultivate their creativity and skills in the dramatic arts has continued to grow.
Michelle joined the ArtsView family as a parent volunteer when her two boys, Harrison and Christopher, began attending PATHs camps in 2012. Watching them grow in ways never imaginable, Michelle felt ArtsView was an incredible place to spend her time and actively sought out volunteer opportunities backstage, assisting with props, sets, costumes, and make-up. Fast forward a handful years, and she has been engaged in almost every aspect of ArtsView’s productions. She continues to direct and write scripts for the ArtsView Performing Troupe and enjoys sharing their shows with our community. Michelle is honored to be a part of the magic ArtsView brings to our students’ lives and to work with such a dynamic team of creative individuals. Michelle serves on the Arts!Longview Task Force as the Planning Committee Chair, and also sits on the Board of Keep Longview Beautiful and The Friends of the Longview Public Library.
