Our Performing Arts THeatre School offers ArtsView Camps & Mini-Camps, Theatre Education Classes, Elementary Production Classes, Homeschool Drama Classes, Workshops, On-Campus School Programs, the College Scholarship Program, and Apprentice & Intern Programs. In addition, ArtsView offers a Fee Assistance Program for qualifying families.

Tots in the Spot!

For our youngest little stars...our tots and their parents! A fun filled hour of themed music, movement, creative dramatics, simple crafts, gross motor activities, and more all centered around different monthly themes! Come play with us!

Intro to Stage Combat

February 15th

Time: 9am to 12pm

Instructor: Matthew Simpson

Participants will be given an overview of stage combat and will be taught a sequence to learn and perform at the end of the session. Come enjoy this hands on workshop and develop your stage combat skills.

In between Improv

Feb. 3rd-Feb. 7th

Times: 4:30-5:45 p.m.

Instructor: Pam Galloway

Come stretch your acting skills through beginning improv! Improvisation is a wonderful skill that helps in so many areas of life in addition to the theatre. Enjoy this fun filled week of improv activities & games, tips to tap into any character, and lots of laughs! (no t-shirt with this camp)

Musical Camp

Feb. 10th-21st

Times: 4:30-5:45 p.m.

Instructor: Penne Duke

Participants will enjoy the musical theatre production process at an age appropriate level in this two week camp. Everyone gets a part to play!  They sing - they dance - they'll make you laugh if you give them a chance!


Here come the Dinostars - taking the stage to entertain you with heroic and Mesozoic acts of fun! With Raptors who rap, stand-up comedians, and even Tyrannosaurus Tex and his gang of line-dancing dinosaurs, our panel of judges have a big job ahead of them!


Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, Feb. 20th at 5:15 p.m.

One Ticketed Performance: Friday, Feb. 21st at 6 p.m.

Ages: 6 to 8


Back Porch 


March 23-April 3 (Saturday rehearsal- March 28th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.)

Times: 4:30-6:30 p.m. 

Auditions: March 21st.  1-4 pm

Come and be a part of our ORIGINAL WORKS camp- showcasing plays by local authors in this performance camp! The winning plays will be brought to life on April 3rd and 4th in our performance camp titled Back Porch Stories! 

This performance will be a part of Longview’s 150th celebration in the spring. Come grow as an actor and be a part of supporting the City of Longview through this process!

Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, April 2nd at 7 p.m.

3 Ticketed performances: Friday, April 3rd at 7 p.m., Saturday April 4 at 2 & 7 p.m.

Broadway at the View - Too

April 6th-24

Times: April 6-17 from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.  (Off on Good Friday, April 10th)

April 20-23rd 4:30-6 p.m.

Building and developing their basic singing & performing skills, participants will be assigned Broadway songs that best fit their vocal make-up and work towards a staged performance with solos, duets and ensembles!


All levels of experience are welcome to attend!

One Ticketed Performance: Saturday, April 25th at 7 p.m.

Showstoppers Showchoir

April 27th-May 8th Times: 4:30-5:45 p.m. 

*Touch up/brush up rehearsal May 27th from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Participants will enjoy being a part of a performing group by learning an age appropriate showchoir program to ‘take on the road’ as our Summer Outreach group 2020! Participants will have a musical camp to prepare the show and then will travel to local events in the community to perform throughout June & July. This group is for everyone- stars that are new to Artsview and returning singers and performers. Come join the fun!

ArtsView Performing Troupe

It’s time! We are bringing back our traveling outreach group! Homeschool teens will prepare a short children’s production to take on the road and share with local schools, community groups, and childcare centers. This is a wonderful group to be a part of. Come join us and give to the community by sharing theatre with young audiences in the East Texas area! The Troupe will be traveling the week May 4th! 

Dress Rehearsal: Monday, May 4th 10am

School Performances: Tuesday & Wednesday May 5 & 6 (morning) 

In House Performances for local groups: May 7th (morning)
